MetiNews.Com - The milder the merrier is my mantra - until now
Breaking News ! London knows how to do Indian food. Especially Brick Lane, which is home to some of the finest curry houses in the world. Walking down the bohemian East London street, I realised that I never make the most of the fact I have all these curry options on my doorstep. Yes, I confess, I’m that guy who always orders a korma, maybe even a tikka masala if I’m feeling more exotic. The milder the merrier is my mantra. I normally look at the people - usually the toxic masculine of the group - ordering the spiciest dish and think, what an idiot. But then it occurred to me that with all the Indian restaurants in London, there must be some extreme dishes on offer in the capital.

I did my research and landed on an article by All in London. Their top pick was a phall curry from one of the best rated restaurants on Brick Lane - Aladin Indian Restaurant. The website states: “The notorious phall curry is so intense there have been reports in the media of people crying, hallucinating and even being rushed to hospital after eating it.” Perfect. So I rang up, asked if the reports are true, to which he replied: “You have to be completely mad to order this.”
