Amarnigh Lewis-Daniel, 24, lived at a flat in Highview House, close to the A12 in Chadwell Heath, East London.
.06pm on March 17. Firefighters arrived to find Amarnigh being given CPR by London Ambulance (LAS) paramedics, but she was pronounced dead at the scene around 40 minutes later. Paramedics told police they believed Amarnigh had fallen from a height, but were unsure if this was connected to the flat fire. She was found with a lighter close to her left hand. Firefighters inspected the flat for any further casualties, but found no one else present inside. However, the front door had been barricaded using “several wooden objects”.
