A statement read: "Due to the updated travel advice from the UK Foreign Office advising against all but essential travel to all areas of Spain, TUI UK have now cancelled all holidays to the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands until Tuesday 4 August, and all holidays to the mainland of Spain until Monday 10 August 2020.

Ryanair has said they will not stop flights to Spain despite the two-week quarantine. Neil Sorahan, Ryanair's chief financial officer, told the BBC: "As things stand, the market remains open, the schedules remain in place and we continue to operate in and out of Spain as normal." Jet2 Jet2 announced they have suspended flights to Spain and Cyprus. On Spain they said: "Following the latest government advice regarding travel to the Balearic and Canary Islands from the UK, we have taken the decision to suspend flights to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza up to and including 9th August 2020. "We have already suspended flights to our destinations in Mainland Spain (Almeria, Alicante, Malaga and Murcia) up to and including 16th August 2020."
