Breaking News ! Two brothers are on trial at Liverpool Crown Court accused of murdering of Michael Rainsford. The 20-year-old died on April 7 last year after he was shot at his home in Harrington Road, Litherland. Michael Foy, 22, and James Foy, 19, both of Rossini Street in Seaforth deny killing him, the possession of a prohibited firearm and possession of ammunition without a certificate. James Foy also denies a separate allegation of possessing a prohibited firearm in 2019. Their mum Joyce Smith, 46 of Rossini Street, the men's uncle Craig Johnson, 38 and of Willard Drive in Bootle, and Andrea Saunderson, 48 and of Keston Crescent, Stockport, each deny perverting the course of justice.
