MetiNews.Com - Toby Carvery pubs are welcoming customers back inside from Monday
Breaking News ! Toby Carvery restaurants reopen for indoor diners on Monday but fans of the pub chain will find the experience quite different. All hospitality venues in England are allowed to welcome customers back indoors from May 17 but one of the rules that remain in place is people must order at their table. For Toby Carvery customers that means no more piling your plate high at the self-service, for the time being at least. The chain has confirmed to the ECHO that in line with the government rules, people visiting its pubs will no longer be able to serve themselves. However, the pub chain has said customers can visit the carvery deck 'to personalise their carvery just how they like it' but a team member will serve them from the deck for the time being. The table service rule means customers won't be able to order drinks or food from the bar, but guests can still visit the carvery and decide how much of each item they want. Phew! The pub chain has said guests will be called up to the carving deck by a team member to select and choose what they want on their plate.

Other new rules and safety measures at Toby Carvery pubs from Monday: All Toby Carvery restaurants are COVID secure and will operate under the same extensive cleaning and hygiene practices successfully introduced last year. Guests can still visit the deck to personalise their carvery just how they like it, however, a team member will serve them from the deck for the time being. Face coverings must be worn and social distancing adhered to when moving around the restaurant. All guests required to either scan the NHS Test and Trace app or share details with a host when visiting. Social distancing measures will be in place in the restaurant and at the carvery deck. All team members are being encouraged to take part in the lateral flow testing process twice a week.
