Breaking News ! Two boys burst into a family's property while trying to flee a chasing group of yobs armed with a knife. Police today confirmed the boys forced their way into the porch of the house in Crosby as they tried to escape from another group of lads. The thugs, one armed with a knife, had been chasing the boys from Crosby Marina damaged the window of the porch in Seaview Terrace during the pursuit as the boys they were trying to get to fled through the rear. One of the two boys the youths were chasing was also thought to have been carrying a knife, police said today. Now police are appealing for witnesses stressing that although nobody was injured the incident around 4.30pm yesterday had left the family who live in the house "extremely distressed". "The group of youths outside caused damage to the window of the porch, before they also made off." One of the chasing pack is reported to have been riding a bright orange bike.
