Love Thy Neighbour, which opened on Hatton Gardens in 2016, has taken to its social media pages to announce the news. The restaurant said it was with “sad regret” that it will go into “hibernation” due to the current economic situation. Find out which of your local restaurants are offering deals: In the message to fans, the team wrote: “It is with sad regret that we advise that due to the current economics of the world, to ensure Love Thy Neighbour can continue long into the future, we have taken the decision to go into "Hibernation" for the foreseeable future - we will keep you all posted of how we are getting on, so for now it is goodnight and not goodbye. “Thanks for your support & understanding. Fans were quick to comment on the post expressing their sadness at the decision. One person said: “So gutted to hear this, we loved all your veggie options. You have a great place and staff, hopefully you’ll be back better than ever!”. Love Thy Neighbour operated as a cafe, coffee shop and organic eatery and bar. It served everything from superfood smoothies to salads and even cocktails. Its menu was primarily vegan.
