Breaking News ! A missing Liverpool fan travelled to the city centre to celebrate the Premier League win before disappearing. Christopher Wainwright was last seen on Thursday, June 25, and has not been heard from since. The 27-year-old is believed to have headed towards town to mark the occasion alongside thousands of other Reds. At around 10.30pm Christopher, from Vauxhall, posted a video of himself to Facebook which showed him excitedly singing songs in the passenger seat of a car. Merseyside Police have now said that the last confirmed sighting of him was at around 30 minutes later, in Liverpool city centre. Appealing for information over his whereabouts, officers said they are hoping the public can help locate him. If you were in the city centre on Thursday night for the celebrations, and think you may have seen Christopher, you are urged to contact police as soon as possible. When he was last seen, Christopher was wearing a Liverpool shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Can you help? We're looking for Christopher Wainwright, who has been missing from home since last Thursday, 25 June.
"27-year-old Christopher is from Vauxhall. He is white, of medium build, with hazel eyes, blonde/light brown hair and has a beard. "When last seen, he was wearing a Liverpool FC shirt, black tracksuit trousers and black trainers. He has links to Liverpool City Centre. "Anyone who has seen Christopher or has any information is urged to contact 101 or @MerPolCC with reference 0273 of June 28."
