Liverpool news Liverpool line-ups as Sadio Mane and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain decisions made MetiNews.Com
MetiNews.Com - Liverpool predicted teams and line-ups for the Premier League clash with West Brom
Breaking News ! 'Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain comes in' Paul Gorst: This next week represents one of the biggest in recent times for Liverpool. Three games that will decide whether or not Champions League football and its accompanying financial benefits will be at Anfield next season. The only problem is, the options are thinning for Jurgen Klopp. No Ozan Kabak means Rhys Williams will start once more alongside Nat Phillips. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson were both excellent against Manchester United, so of course they keep their place. In midfield, I’m going to opt for a slight tweak with that trip to Burnley to come on Wednesday. I’m resting Thiago Alcantara and bringing in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, but Fabinho and Gini Wijnaldum can keep their place. Up top, I was tempted to keep it the same as at Old Trafford but a disgruntled Sadio Mane gets his chance to go and make a claim alongside Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah. My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Williams, Robertson; Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane. And it isn't kicking a ball around in front of more or less nobody. So it's with great delight we become aware Liverpool's trip to West Bromwich Albion this afternoon is hopefully their last game behind closed doors for a very, very, very long time. The Reds can't be worrying about that, though. They need to win. What is Jurgen Klopp to do? Defensively, it may be wise to stick with what's what. If Ozan Kabak can return, Burnley on Wednesday seems a better shout.
. I'd advocate that to be Gini Wijnaldum, with Curtis Jones coming in. Same up top, where Diogo Jota can go back on the bench and Sadio Mane returns - perhaps with a point to prove. My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Williams, Robertson; Fabinho, Thiago, Jones; Salah, Firmino, Mane. 'Two changes for Liverpool' Mark Wakefield: This is both an easy and tricky team selection, if that’s even possible. Every single player who featured in Liverpool’s win over Manchester United deserves another go today against West Brom. But Klopp must bear in mind that this is the second of four matches in the space of 11 days, so rotation in some areas of the pitch is important. With that being said, I would make two changes to the team that won at Old Trafford. Alisson is an obvious starter, as is Alexander-Arnold and Robertson. Plus, Phillips and Rhys Williams did themselves proud in the last match and deserve another go.

The midfield three of Fabinho, Thiago and Wijnaldum worked so well the other day, but Curits Jones deserves a start so I’ve gone with him over Wijnaldum. Then the front three sees Salah and Firmino keep their places, with Mane coming in to replace Jota. Mane was visibly annoyed at not starting at Old Trafford, but he’ll be much fresher and raring to go to prove that dropping him again is not an option. My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, R.Williams, Robertson; Fabinho, Thiago, Jones; Salah, Firmino, Mane
