Physio responds to injury criticism Liverpool physio Chris Morgan has responded to the criticism he has faced on social media with some supporters blaming him for the club's lengthy injury list. The Reds currently have their three first-choice centre-backs - Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip - all sidelined until the end of the season. As well as this, Thiago Alcantara, Diogo Jota, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kostas Tsimikas, Xherdan Shaqiri, Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson are all either injured or have been sidelined at points this season. Klopp makes defiant Reds claim Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has claimed there is 'no chance' his side have 'lost it' this season, despite their recent form. The champions are in sixth place and have lost their last four matches at Anfield with their Premier League title defence all but over. However, Klopp has insisted his team have not lost the quality that was evident to see throughout last season as the Reds cruised to their first title in 30 years. "I always expected the season would be like this," the Liverpool manager said. "I didn't expect that we would have the injury issues we have in one critical position, but I knew that it would be a campaign where it would be a proper race until the very last inches as we approach the finish line.
