Data covering testing in the seven days up to February 27 shows that the total number of confirmed cases in Liverpool is 548, a decrease of 235 cases on the previous week. This means Liverpool's current covid infection rate is down to 110 cases per 100,000 people. Crucially, Liverpool's positivity testing rate is also falling and now stands at 6.1%. This is the total number of positive tests from all tests carried out in the last 7 days - and had reached as high as 23% in the worst days of the January surge.
