Breaking News ! Good evening, Everton fans. Here are your evening headlines for Saturday, October 17. Ancelotti unconcerned with Pickford's form Carlo Ancelotti is not worried about the form of Everton's first-choice goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. The former Sunderland stopper endured a mixed afternoon against Liverpool at Goodison Park, and a last-minute mistake almost proved costly for the home side. Jordan Henderson’s scuffed strike found its way past Pickford and into the net, but the goal was ultimately ruled offside by VAR. However, the mistake - and a first-half challenge which injured Virgil van Dijk - once again cast a spotlight on Pickford, although he did produce one excellent stop to deny Joel Matip in the second period. We have to defend better in certain situations but against Liverpool, it is a really, really difficult game, defensively and offensively." Calvert-Lewin disappointed to see winning streak end Dominic Calvert-Lewin has expressed his disappointment that Everton’s winning streak is over. The England international notched a vital equaliser to give the Blues a 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Goodison Park, but the result ended the club’s flawless start to the season. "But sometimes it happens where you start the game a little bit slow, they went ahead early doors, but it just shows that we’ve made strides with getting back in the game and then we’re unfortunate not to kick on and go ahead, Richarlison hit the post as well, so we had chances to win it but we didn’t take them today.
