. The 16-day hot streak starts on June 15 and ends on June 30, so pencil that in your diaries. According to AccuWeather, temperatures in Liverpool will start to peak on May 29, with 18C expected. This will gradually rise to 20C on June 7 before highs of 22C around June 22 are predicted. The Met Office long-range forecast doesn't get that far ahead but it is forecasting an improvement towards the end of May with warmer temperatures over the May 31 bank holiday weekend.
The Met Office long-range forecast for Saturday, May 29, to Saturday, June 12, says: "Confidence is low for this period, typical of spring and early summer. "It is likely for conditions to remain changeable with showers at first, but probably becoming more settled with an increasing likelihood of drier conditions for many places. "Temperatures possibly recovering to nearer average but with more settled conditions bringing some warmer days, and some cooler nights remain possible."
