Breaking News ! Everton's options at centre-half look to have reduced further after Jarrad Branthwaite was forced out of the game with Salford City through injury. The 18-year-old, who had only recently shaken off a knock, turned his left ankle after just over 20 minutes of this evening's Carabao Cup second round tie at Goodison. Branthwaite was replaced by Lucas Digne who was asked to fill in at centre-back by Carlo Ancelotti. Lewis Gibson, who is being lined up for a loan move to Huddersfield Town, was not named in the matchday squad tonight.
