MetiNews.Com - The baby burst out crying after the shameful attack
Breaking News ! A baby in a pram was showered with glass after thugs threw bricks at a passing bus in Anfield. A picture shared on social media showed the shattered glass of one of the windows inside the No 17 Stagecoach service after the incident yesterday evening. A female passenger, who was travelling on the upper deck, said she was left in "absolute shock" after she narrowly missed being cut by flying glass following the mindless attack on June 29. She added: "Some scumbags threw a brick at the bus window upstairs and downstairs in Anfield just past the ground and glass went all over a baby in a pram. "There was glass all over the seat and all over the floor and it was all inside the buggy. "The mum was in shock and covered in glass, and the baby was crying. "The brick nearly hit me and my brother as well. "I was in shock for hours afterwards." The passenger, who wished to remain anonymous, said three bricks were thrown in total resulting in two windows being shattered downstairs and one upstairs. The brick-throwing yobs struck in Anfield Road at around 6pm yesterday. Stagecoach were approached for comment but it is not believed the incident was reported to police.
. One woman, who said her husband was the driver of the bus, posted: "This is nothing unusual unfortunately. My husband was the driver of that bus and even when he finished his shift hours later he was still wound up."

One Facebook user responded: "I hope he is ok now. It's vile to think he's only doing his job and has to contend with loutish behaviour. He's providing a much needed service too." Meanwhile another woman called the yobs "idiots". She wrote: "Just idiots and they need to pay the price for their thoughtlessness and stupidity. Hope the baby, driver and everyone are ok." And another said: "I'm seriously worried for our city at the moment, it's like law and order is a joke."
