Breaking News ! 1646246694">Wolves are planning to let Max Kilman go this summer – months after handing him a five-year contract, Football Insider can reveal. The Englishman, 23, signed a new deal last October that runs until the summer of 2025 after breaking into the first team. A Wolves source has told Football Insider that defender Kilman is likely to be offloaded either permanently, or on a season-long loan at the start of next term. The Premier League club have long had high hopes for the strapping centre-back and were hopeful he could establish himself as a first-team regular.
But the source explained that manager Nuno Espirito Santo is not convinced Kilman is of the calibre he wants in defence.

Tellingly, the London-born player has been overlooked in the starting XI for the last three matches despite the absence of the injured Willy Boly.
Skipper Connor Coady has been joined in a three-man defence by Romain Saiss and Leander Dendoncker,
Nuno has more faith in Dendoncker than Kilman in defence even though the Belgium international is far more comfortable operating in midfield.
