Breaking News ! 1196740576">Frank McAvennie has tipped Odsonne Edouard to leave Celtic this summer and return to his native France. Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the Parkhead legend said the 22-year-old’s exit is a “foregone conclusion” and touted the Premier League as another potential destination. Edouard has been in scintillating form since the turn of the year, with eight goals in his last eight Scottish Premiership fixtures. As quoted by the Glasgow Times, Hoops boss Neil Lennon claimed earlier this month the Frenchman had rediscovered his “mojo” after difficulties in the first half of the campaign. He also revealed the striker felt he missed out on a “potential move” away from Celtic Park last summer. When asked for his assessment of Edouard’s future in light of Lennon’s comments, McAvennie told Football Insider: “Edouard will leave in the summer. It is a foregone conclusion.

“Edouard is doing really well now, he is starting to score goals frequently.
“I imagine he will go back to France. I am not sure if he will move to the Premier League but let me tell you, he could make it down in England – easily.”
Speaking on Edouard in mid-February, Lennon said: “He had issues going on in the first half of the season, but he seems to have really found his mojo. He makes us a better team, no question of that.
