Breaking News ! Spurs are reportedly stepping up their interest in South Korea centre-back Kim Min-jae. Jose Mourinho is thought to be a big admirer of the 6ft 3in Beijing Guoan defender and Spurs reportedly had two bids rejected in the summer. They are now set to go back in for Min-Jae with Chelsea rumoured to be circling. Min-jae has three goals in 30 appearances for his country and won a gold medal at the 2018 Asian games.
He moved to China in January 2019 from Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors after winning back to back K League titles in his homeland.
Mourinho was critical of his side’s defending after the 1-1 home draw with Fulham this week, but insisted he was “not expecting” the club to be busy in the transfer window.
