Breaking News ! Police are appealing for dash cam footage of a three-vehicle crash on the A39 which left a woman with serious injuries. The incident happened on Thursday, November 19, on the main route between Truro and the Carland Cross junction of the A30. Devon and Cornwall Police were called at 4.53pm to reports of a three-vehicle crash on the A39 at the main junction for Trispen, near the Honda Garage. The crash involved a silver van, a white car and a silver car. The female driver of the silver car sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. Any witnesses to the crash who haven't already spoken to police are asked to contact the police on 101 quoting the log number 660 - 19th November 2020. Police would be particularly interested in anyone who may have dash cam footage of the crash.

Shortly after the crash, a spokesperson for the fire service said: "We were called by the ambulance service at 4.58pm to reports of a three-vehicle road traffic collision with one person trapped in a vehicle on its side. Police were already in attendance and ambulance crews were en route. "Two appliances, one each from Truro and Newquay fire stations were mobilised, along with a rescue tender from Tolvaddon and a wholetime group manager from St Austell. "On arrival crews stabilised the vehicle with the person trapped inside, and used small tools to extricate them. The casualty was handed over to the care of the ambulance service."
