Breaking News ! One person has been left with a life-changing injury following a collision involving a bike and two cars on the A39 in Cornwall. Police were called to the scene of the crash, near St Kew, at around 4.40pm yesterday (August 1). The road was closed to traffic for some time and the Cornwall Air Ambulance was understood to have taken one person to hospital with what has been described by police as "life changing injuries" to their leg. A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "At approximately 4.40pm on Saturday, August 1, police were notified of a road traffic collision on the A39 near St Kew Highway. "The collision involved a red Suzuki motorcycle, a silver Mazda 6 and a blue Ford C Max.

"The motorcycle had a rider and pillion passenger, one of which sustained serious, life changing injury. "Officers from the Alliance’s Roads Policing Team attended the scene and commenced an investigation of the scene with officers working to establish the cause of this collision.
"Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision or may have dashcam footage of the A39 between Wadebridge and St Kew Highway between 4.30pm and 4.40pm. "Please telephone 101 quoting Log 0794 of August 1, 2020."
