Breaking News ! A man was stabbed in Redruth on Tuesday evening, police have confirmed. Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an investigation after an assault in the town. A man in his thirties was taken to hospital with a stab wound after an incident at around 9:10 pm on Fore Street. Police described it as a “minor injury”. An appeal for information has been launched, with Devon and Cornwall Police asking anyone who might be able to assist with enquiries to contact them. A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police are investigating after a man in his 30s was assaulted in an alley off Fore Street, Redruth on Tuesday, 12 January. “A man from Redruth was treated in hospital for a stab wound following the incident which occurred sometime around 9:10pm.
. He has since been discharged from hospital and the injuries are described as minor. Investigations are ongoing. “Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to call police on 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting crime reference CR/002933/21.”
