Breaking News ! The family of a missing Warrington man said they are "exhausted and heartbroken" but won't give up until they know he's safe. James Miller was last seen more than two months ago on Slater Street, Latchford, at 11pm on Tuesday, December 22. In a heart-breaking update, sister Emma Miller revealed that the number of reported sightings of the 38-year-old have dropped, but the family "haven't and won't give up." Emma told CheshireLive: "The number of reports of potential sightings have dropped but we haven't and won't give up. "Every time something is reported the police are making enquiries. We are managing to get James' face further afield, if he has left Warrington. "Posters are everywhere, which we and members of the public near and far are putting up. The police teams are conducting their searches still." She added: "We are exhausted and heartbroken, but we will keep on going until we know James is safe. "He's on our minds 24/7 and we hope he knows just how much we love and miss him." The family have asked the public to "keep James' face fresh" and also thanked them for their support. Emma said: "Please keep James' face fresh, this is the most important thing right now as just someone may recognise him somewhere the more people that know the better chance we have.

Speaking on Christmas Eve, when the first public appeal was issued, PC Angela Bahn, of Warrington Local Policing Unit, said: “We’re becoming increasingly concerned for James as time goes on and are continuing to search the area he was last seen. “I am encouraging anyone who thinks they may have seen James, or know of his whereabouts, to please contact us. “James, if you see this please get in touch with us on 101 as your family are really worried about you.” Top Stories from the CheshireLive newsletter Police probe Waitrose 'punch your face in threat' during social distancing row Focus on 'classic' COVID-19 symptoms 'could miss third of cases' Labour vows to 'put up a proper fight' over Cheshire traveller transit site Cheshire pub fined over watering down booze Lidl and Boots recall meat and vitamins over safety fears
