Breaking News ! A new mural has gone up on a corner between St Pauls and St Werburgh's declaring a Mediterranean restaurant nearby serves the “Best Falafel” in the city. The owners of Baba Ganoush commissioned an artist known as Omar to paint this mural to show their love for the city and for their community. In total the mural took eight days to paint and cost £1,200 and is part of a new refurbishment taking place at the restaurant. Every element of the mural, from the colours to the composition was designed by Shad Sampson, owner of Baba Ganoush. Mr Sampson said: “Part of my philosophy is managing the area and I want to be there for the community as much as they are there for us. “My wife and I, Dael Sampson, want the area to look as nice as possible for children who cross the bridge everyday. “Our first murals were the colourful Bristol homes and Brunel Bridge painted on the M32 bridge opposite our restaurant. "The reason I moved to Bristol was because of the St Webrugh's community and they always push me to do more. The people are the reason why I stayed in Bristol, after moving from London.

. Love Bristol. Love the Community’. Rightly so, as they are known for serving the best falafel in Bristol. For a long period of time, glowing TripAdvisor reviews have been pouring in for the restaurant and they were recently named The Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award . They are officially number one for Lebanese food in Bristol and number two of 1,136 restaurants in Bristol. “Everywhere I go and open a business I don't just open a business, I also try to make the area better for everyone. “I make sure I work closely with the council, bin services, the police and every other institution in between,” Mr Sampson said. They’ve also got plans to commission another artist in the city to create murals opposite the restaurant on the bridge. The murals will encompass the themes of veganism, climate change, the planet and animal rights.
