Breaking News ! Bristol City chairman Jon Lansdown has hinted that a managerial appointment could be close with a cryptic tweet sent to a Bristol City fan. Robins supporters are getting restless with Bristol City still having not announced a replacement to Lee Johnson after his sacking four weeks ago and the search now enters its fifth week. Paul Cook is currently favourite ahead of Chris Hughton and Alex Neil, with Dean Holden falling away slightly despite a recent surge up the list, but there is still no telling when a new man will be appointed. A decision seems close, with second interviews taking place this week, and Lansdown has now got some fans excited with a tweet sent to Bristol City fan keeping an eye on the Ashton Gate roof. Fans have replied to the tweet wondering if an announcement is nigh, with one saying: "Jon is this your way of teasing us?," and another saying: "How much longer Jon?!" Fans have been asking about when the roof will be opened for the past four weeks after the Robins started the tradition, and Lansdown has previously discussed the roof announcements. He said: "The drone shot of Kalas was kind of the pinnacle of it and it's just great to see something that came naturally from what we've done before to something that has a really nice impact like that. "It's nice everyone saying 'if he's not on the roof he hasn't signed', it's good fun."
