Breaking News ! A boarding school in Bristol has become the ninth school in and around Bristol to be affected by coronavirus, with a pupil testing positive. Clifton College, a public boarding school in Guthrie Road, Clifton confirmed today (Wednesday, September 16) a child in its upper school has tested positive for the virus and is in isolation at home. A spokesperson said: “All 43 of the pupils in the boarding house and 27 close contacts of the pupil have been required to isolate for two weeks. "These pupils are continuing to receive pastoral support and access their lessons via remote learning.” Following the advice from Public Health England, the college says it has introduced a number of safety procedures to help keep pupils safe. These include social distancing measures for pupils to move around safely on site and thorough cleaning regimes.
