Breaking News ! Lawrence Hill is partially closed this morning after a bus fire. The A420 westbound carriageway is closed and there is now “slow traffic” as a result. Traffic monitoring agency Inrix said the road is closed from the Lawrence Hill roundabout. They said: “A420 Lawrence Hill Westbound closed, slow traffic due to bus fire from A4320 Barrow Road.” A spokesperson for Travel West wrote in a tweet: “Lawrence Hill/Clarence Road closed due to a vehicle fire. Please use alternative routes.” Bus services are being affected by the closure and First West has updated services to include a diversion via Easton Way and Stapleton Road.
