Breaking News ! Liverpool U18s boss Marc Bridge-Wilkinson is delighted with what he's seeing from three young prospects. In scoring twice in this week's 4-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, Kaide Gordon netted his first competitive goals since arriving from Derby County in February. "Kaide is a good player, there's no two ways about that," Bridge-Wilkinson told the Liverpool Echo. "He is a lot younger than everyone else. He's only 16 and he's still at school. "He has adapted to a new environment well and is starting to show what he can do.
."
Max Woltman, a 17-year-old forward who signed his first professional contract at Liverpool in January, netted the other two goals - taking him to four in his last five league games - with England U18 international midfielder James Balagizi contributing two assists for the second league game in a row.
"Max was really good and very positive," adds Bridge-Wilkinson. "His forward movement to create space for the rest of the boys to play in was brilliant and he really deserved his goals.
"We changed the system later in the second half slightly to push Bala up a bit more and he helped change the game with the two goals he created.
"I'd like to see him get into those areas without us having to change it."
