Breaking News ! A woman has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a bus in Highgate. The pedestrian was at the junction of Highgate Road and Krywicks Lane when she was struck just after 6.05pm on Tuesday (January 12). West Midlands Ambulance service sent paramedics and other staff to the incident. She was treated for potentially serious injuries and transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. A section of the busy road was closed while the emergency services attended the scene.
.06pm yesterday. "Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the West Midlands Care Team attended the scene. "On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman, who was the pedestrian. "She was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham for further treatment."
