Breaking News ! A woman was taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Stechford. Paramedics were called to the crash in Station Road at 11.25am today (Thursday). Fire Crews were also at the scene and helped to get a patient out of the vehicle. West Midlands Ambulance Service says a woman was treated for injuries which are not believed to be serious before being taken to Heartlands Hospital for further assessment. A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a three-car RTC on Station Road, one ambulance attended the scene.

." King of Ink, formerly Mathew Whelan, told BirminghamLive: "I heard a loud smash. By the time I looked out the window, there was a white vehicle which had smoke coming from it and there were a number of people on the pavement. "The police come out of the station and the ambulance turned up a bit later followed by the fire service. The road was then closed. "The emergency services did a great job."
