Breaking News ! Wolves are set to rival Liverpool for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr in the summer transfer window - if winger Adama Traore departs Molineux. Sarr, 22, is expected to leave Watford after their relegation to the Championship - his exit from Vicarage Road would be after only a single season at the club, having become the Hornets’ record signing last summer when he arrived from French outfit Rennes. The Senegalese playmaker scored six goals in 30 appearances, including a brace in that surprise 3-0 win over champions Liverpool over the festive period. Adama Traore transfer latest Very few footballers are being talked about as much as Adama Traore right now. Traore initially took time to settle at Wolves and spent the vast majority of his first season on Nuno Espirito Santo's bench, but he's been a revelation in his second. Traore's form in 2019/20 makes the £18million fee Wolves paid Middlesbrough look like a snip and the club are guaranteed to make a profit should any of the reported interest amount to more. Nuno bluntly told reporters that Traore wouldn't leave in January and he was as good as his word.

. As always though, there are no guarantees in football - but if Traore is to leave Wolves, it will be on the club's terms. What we know so far about his future - READ Why Traore should stay at Wolves - READ Sarr attracted interest from Jurgen Klopp after that, and the Reds had been tipped to move for Sarr on the back of Watford’s drop - but now the Daily Mirror claim that Wolves are also viable contenders for Sarr’s signature. That would be in the case that Traore was to leave this summer, with the Spaniard attracting interest aplenty himself over the course of a very impressive season in which he combined to great effect with Wolves top scorer Raul Jimenez. Liverpool and Manchester City have both been credited with an interest in Traore, who also has suitors overseas. Wolves are currently preparing for the resumption of their Europa League campaign which will see them take on Olympiacos in the second leg of their last 16 tie, with the aggregate score currently 1-1.
