Breaking News ! Police have released a new statement over the death of a teenager in Willenhall. Emergency services were called to an address in Birches Rise, at 2pm, on Tuesday, January 12, where the 19-year-old was found unresponsive. Despite the best efforts of medics, nothing could be done to save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene. West Midlands Police issued an update to say they are now treating the teen's death as 'unexplained or suspicious', and a file is being prepared for the Coroner. In a statement at the time of the incident, a spokesman for the force said: "We have launched an investigation into the unexplained death of a man after he was found unresponsive at an address in Birches Rise at around 2pm this afternoon. "Despite the best efforts of medical staff, the 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. "Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances that led to the man’s death.
. We sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene."
