Breaking News ! Tamworth FC's management team of Gary Smith, Andrew Danylyszyn and Thomas Baillie have committed their futures to the club for next season. The trio enjoyed a massively successful campaign last time out before the season was curtailed by the coronavirus. They had an average points per game record last season of 2.16, only bettered by Premier League Champions Liverpool. Several of last season’s group have already committed to re-signing with the likes of Ryan Beswick, Lathaniel Rowe-Turner, Joe Magunda and Aaron Forde among the priority players they hope to re-sign. The Lambs are also in talks with a couple of fresh faces, considered exciting attacking players. Greg Kaziboni and Rhys Hoenes did leave the club this week, joining Stratford Town and Coalville respectively. “We have a few commitments in place and we are very happy,” said joint boss Smith.

Meanwhile, Smith says young midfielder Charlie Shaw still has a future at the club. Shaw is battling back from a long-term injury and Smith said: “I saw Charlie at the ground last week and had a good chat with him. “He’s working to get back into shape. It’s a case of him working with Manzu for his rehab and we’ll see where it ends up when the time arrives. “He’s a good player, no doubts about that. We’ll look after him because he has a good future.”
