Breaking News ! This is the moment Susanna Reid grilled the boss of Ryanair over a clear lack of social distancing on flights. The low-cost carrier is resuming 40 per cent of its flights from Wednesday, July 1, with departures scheduled from Birmingham. Ryanair will fly to a variety of destinations - including Malaga, Krakow and Barcelona - from the transport hub near the NEC, in Solihull. To mark the resumption of Ryanair's flights, the chief of the airline appeared on Good Morning Britain on July 1. Michael O'Leary appeared via video link to be interviewed by Susanna, who was left furiously slamming him. She told Mr O'Leary passengers were "crammed" into planes amid the pandemic - and "on top of each other". Susanna, 49, also wondered whether it was "pointless" to wear face masks when they were still serving food. Michael O'Leary, the CEO, blasted the government in response, telling Susanna: "The government is making a mess of the whole thing.

. "That's why we're all wearing mandatory face masks," he responded. Mr O'Leary added: "They're not on top of each other."
