According to the Daily Record, Albion are keen on going back in for the Colombian international after a failed £12 million approach last year. They face competition from French top tier side Lille, though, with Christophe Galtier's side having already agreed personal terms with Morelos. However, they are struggling to thrash out a fee with Rangers holding out for £17m. Morelos enjoyed a fine 2019-20 campaign, scoring 29 goals in all competitions for Gerrard's side. Now the Liverpool legend has addressed the talk surrounding Morelos' future at Ibrox. "I think this will work itself out if there is a bid that's big enough, that the board want to accept, we'll make that decision when it comes," he said. "At the moment we're nowhere near that so Alfredo is still a Rangers player.
. "At the moment I don't want to add to much noise to it because we've got a game on Saturday. That's the most important thing right now, not ins and outs. The important thing is three points at Aberdeen. "There's nothing to report on him in terms of his situation. He's focused, training well and available for tomorrow. "Whether he'll start or not, you'll find out 75 minutes before kick-off."
