Breaking News ! Raul Jimenez latest Raul Jimenez is ‘comfortable’ after undergoing surgery on the horrific head injury he sustained in Sunday night’s win over Arsenal. Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jimenez clashed heads with Arsenal counterpart David Luiz in the opening stages at The Emirates and suffered a fractured skull. He was swiftly taken to a hospital in London where he has since regained consciousness and been operated on. The club released a statement on Monday morning to confirm Jimenez will remain in hospital under observation as he begins the road to recovery. Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: “It was very concerning, quite upsetting to see something like that happen on a football pitch again. Hopefully everything is OK with him and his health at this moment in time is the most important thing. “My incident took a lot out of me and my family and it’s a real shame that football hasn’t changed in the last three years. Yes, there’s loads of talk of certain things but what’s it going to take for us to realise that head injuries and these types of collisions aren’t OK, they’re dangerous. “I’m very sensitive and passionate about this subject. I’ve spoken to many people in the last three years. I hope this incident makes people stand up and realise. You can’t keep having the same perception of certain types of challenges when people’s health is in danger.”
