Breaking News ! A schoolboy and a teenager have been arrested after a broad daylight attack in Birmingham city centre. Police were called to Essex Street after a man, in his 20s, was punched in the face at around 7pm on Saturday, August 1. The victim suffered a broken nose in the incident and officers then carried out CCTV trawls in the area. A 14-year-old boy and a male, aged 17, were both arrested on suspicion of assault. The 17-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article - both remained in police custody on Sunday, August 2.
