MetiNews.Com - Wolverhampton Wanderers travel to Elland Road on Monday night to take on Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United
Breaking News ! Wolverhampton Wanderers return to Premier League action with a trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United on Monday. Nuno Espirito Santo's side bounced back from their mauling at West Ham with a 1-0 win over Fulham last time out but very little work has been done at Compton Park during the international break. Almost all of Nuno's first team squad were away with their respective countries and some only arrived back in Wolverhampton in time for Friday's training session. Newly-promoted Leeds sit one point and five places ahead of Wolves in the early standings after an impressive start to life back in the Premier League. We got the lowdown from LeedsLive's Joe Mewis... How have Leeds started the season and what are their expectations this year? "The season has started as well as anyone at Elland Road could have hoped for. Battling performances against the division's two best sides in Liverpool and Manchester City have shown Bielsa's tactics and the players' application will work against anyone in the Premier League, while wins over Sheffield United and Fulham have ensured points have been put on the board. "The manner of their performances and way that a squad of players with little collective Premier League experience have stepped up has been hugely encouraging. Based on this early evidence, a mid-table finish is achievable." "This is very much a side built around the collective, which is just the way Bielsa likes it, with players across the park all contributing to Leeds' early-season success. "Patrick Bamford deserves singling out though, after developing a newfound efficiency in front of goal, while the likes of Mateusz Klich, Luke Ayling and Kalvin Phillips have all stepped up with little fuss and have looked like seasoned Premier League players. "Summer signing Rodrigo has been getting better with every game and Leeds will be hoping a true breakthrough performance is around the corner." How has Helder Costa fared since the start of the season? "Helder Costa has been playing some of his best football in a Leeds shirt so far in the early weeks of the new campaign. A brace against Fulham has been supplemented by some excellent performances on the right, as it looks like a year learning Marcelo Bielsa's systems and getting used to his demands is now paying dividends after he failed to live up to lofty expectations last season.

How do you beat Leeds? What are their biggest weaknesses? "For all of Leeds' energy and attacking verve, the first month of the Premier League season has shown that teams can get at them at the back. Set-pieces have been a weakness under Bielsa and are one area Wolves could look to exploit. "If Liam Cooper loses his fitness battle then Leeds will likely field the same inexperienced back-line of Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk that conceded four at Anfield on the first day of the season." What's your score prediction? "I dare say we'll see a few goals and I'm expecting another entertaining match. I'll let my optimism get the better of me and say 3-2 to Leeds."
