The victim, aged 16, had a knife held to his face before the culprit, also aged around 16, grabbed his scooter and left. The shocking incident happened on Monday, January 11 in Kerria, Amington, Tamworth at around 6.30pm. Staffordshire Police are now appealing for information. "The offender is said to have held an unidentified object (since confirmed as a knife) up to the injured party's face and demanded the scooter be handed over. "He has then grabbed hold of it and made good his escape.

Having obtained the scooter the offender has made their way along the cycle path and was last seen in Glascote Heath near to the St George pub. "CCTV and scene enquiries are underway.
