MetiNews.Com - Jurgen Klopp became increasingly frustrated with some of referee Mike Dean's decisions during Sunday's clash between West Brom and Liverpool at the Hawthorns
Breaking News ! Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp took exception to Mike Dean’s officiating during Sunday’s clash against West Bromwich Albion. Albion welcomed Liverpool to the Hawthorns having had their relegation confirmed last week at Arsenal, but the visitors still have it all to play for in the race for the Champions League qualifying places. Sam Allardyce's side took the lead inside the first 15 minutes with Hal Robson-Kanu finishing smartly past Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker after being played in by Matheus Pereira. The Reds were level just after half an hour when Sadio Mane teed up Mohamed Salah after Albion winger Grady Diangana lost possession on the edge of his own box. The German head coach’s frustrations eventually boiled over and he reportedly shouted “'How can he do that?” to referee Dean. Klopp confirmed before the match that Liverpool forward Diogo Jota will miss the run-in with a foot injury while giving more positive updates on James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. “No good thing without a bad thing - so, we won at Manchester United but Diogo got something with the bone,” Klopp told Sky (via the Liverpool Echo). “It's not too serious but serious enough to end the season. That's it.
