Dan Walker is set to step down as the presenter of popular BBC show Football Focus at the end of the season. And Jermaine Jenas, who played for Newcastle United and Tottenham but had a spell on loan at Aston Villa, has been linked with the gig. Walker, who also presents BBC Breakfast, has been doing both jobs for several years and hosted Football Focus since 2009. However, he will make his final appearance on the last day of the current season on 22 May. Jermaine Jenas has been linked in The Mirror and is a regular feature on the show already.
