Breaking News ! Coronavirus infection rates have more soared in every area of Worcestershire, concerning new figures show. In the seven days to September 23, the number of cases rose in the Worcester, Bromsgrove,  Redditch, Malvern Hills, Wyre Forest and Wychavon districts compared to the previous week. Wyre Forest, for example, saw 45 cases in the week before September 23, a rate of 44.4 cases per 100,000 people in the area. That compared to just 23 cases and an infection rate of 22.7 in the seven days before September 16, just a week earlier. The rolling seven-day rate of new cases of Covid-19 for every local authority area also shows that cases have more than doubled in other areas of Worcestershire.
