Breaking News ! Wolverhampton Wanderers have appointed Scott Sellars to the role of technical director. Sellars was the head of the club's academy but now replaces Kevin Thelwell, who left the club in February last year. In the summer, Sellars became the club's 'general manager of football technical' and extended his seven-year association with the club having arrived at Molineux in 2014. Sellars, whose playing career took in spells at Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers, joined Wolves from Manchester City after a five-year spell with Etihad Stadium side and he also spent time as Chesterfield's assistant manager a couple of decades ago. He was Wolves ' Under-23s manager from 2014-2018 and in 2019 became the club's academy manager. . “The change in title will not mean any changes to the way we work, the process of decision making, or the roles of his colleagues, as Scott has already been working as part of the core leadership team for some time. Nuno, Matt and I all know Scott well and already have a good working relationship among us.
