Breaking News ! Villa fans rage at VAR Aston Villa fans were left raging after a stoppage time VAR call ruled out what would’ve been an Ollie Watkins equaliser at West Ham United. Villa, trailing 2-1, thought they’d snatched what would’ve been a well earned point when Watkins appeared to shrug off defender Angelo Ogbonna and fire past Lukasz Fabianski, but he was adjudged to be offside by a matter of centimetres and the goal was chalked off. Watkins then missed a penalty when Trezeguet was fouled in the area.
