Breaking News ! Wolverhampton Wanderers won't be competing in the Europa League in 2020/21. Arsenal defeated Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley today to ensure Wolves' seventh-placed finish in the Premier League doesn't lead to European football. Wolves needed Chelsea to beat the Gunners at Wembley to see them through to the Europa League qualifying rounds and they got off to the perfect start with Christian Pulisic putting them ahead inside six minutes. But Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang turned it around, first from the penalty spot before he buried the winner midway through the second half. Chelsea went down to 10 men late on after key midfielder Matteo Kovacic was sent off for a second bookable offence. Wolves may not be involved in the Europa League next season but their Champions League dream is still alive.

. If they progress against the Greek side Wolves will travel to Germany to compete in a mini-tournament to decide the winner of this year's competition.
