Breaking News ! Two 18-year-olds from Reading have been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. Thames Valley Police was called to Kennet Island in Reading following reports of an altercation. The incident occurred near Longships Way, Isle Way and Rushey Way, in Reading, at around 5.20pm on Wednesday, May 12. Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. The teenagers have been released on police bail. Investigating officer, PC Henry Jones, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses following this incident, and would urge anyone with information to please come forward.
