Breaking News ! Reading manager Veljko Paunovic rued the missed opportunities by his side after they lost 1-0 to Championship basement club Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park. Fred Onyedinma's scrappy second-half goal was enough to inflict a fourth defeat in five matches on Royals, who squandered a point when Lucas Joao missed his third spot-kick of the season. Here is what the Serbian had to say post match. What did you make of the defeat? We didn't get the result we wanted and we don't have time to be disappointed. This is a marathon and we have to bounce back immediately. It's not what we wanted definitely but we can't change it now. All we can do is learn from it and improve - this has always been our approach and we have to do it again. We did that well in the past and we have to recover. Being clinical in front of goal is crucial for us. Why is the side not being clinical? We had some chances after the penalty but we have to acknowledge our opponents from stopping us from scoring goals. We also have to be sharper in our finishing and that comes down to repetition which we don't have time to do but training is fundamental. We know what we know about our team. We are capable of scoring goals, we can play good football.

. I won't let them do that though because we have to bounce back. We have 14 opportunities in front of us and the next one is the next game very soon. Will you consider changing penalty takers? We have to look at that situation, but we will see. We have to support Lucas. He's very affected, the same as the rest of the team, and we will fix it. Andy Rinomhota was upended for the penalty How concerned are you about the run of form? I'm not concerned - I just want to fix it. There were some very good moments in the game, especially in the first half so this is something we will encourage. We'll look to fix the sloppy start we had in the second half. We have to be always on the front foot and on our toes, and ready against every team.
