Breaking News ! A man was knocked unconscious and suffered a fractured skull in a savage attack inside a pub. The incident happened in The Britannia Pub in Little Marlow Road, Marlow, at around 9.10pm on Friday, October 16. The 24-year-old victim was sitting at a table when he was approached by a group of people. A police spokesperson said one of the group, a woman, punched the man in the face. They added that another man also punched him. He fell to the floor when the attacker continued to punch and stamp on him, even though he had been knocked unconscious, according to police. The spokesperson added that the woman who punched the man also attacked another woman, who was with the victim, pulling her hair and hitting her in the face. . The man was taken to hospital with a fractured skull and cuts and remains in a stable condition. Police have called the attack "extremely violent" and made two arrests. Witnesses to the incident are urged to come forward. A 39-year-old man of no fixed abode has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. He is currently in police custody.
