Breaking News ! A major road in Reading has reopened following a fire earlier this evening - Saturday November 21. The fire took place on Bath Road, one of the main roads into town. Reading Buses were being diverted as a result of the blaze. The bus company said: "Due to a fire on the Bath Rd, the 1-2-26 services will be diverted via Coley Avenue/Berkley Avenue outbound until further notice." The company first said they were diverting their buses shortly before 10pm tonight. Shortly before 10.30pm Reading Buses said their vehicles were back on their normal route. They said: "Jet black, lime 2, yellow 26 now back to normal following the earlier disruption.
