Breaking News ! Reading are without a game this weekend after their match with Brentford was postponed due to Covid-19. Royals had been looking forward to getting their second half of the season under way against the Bees but the match has been put on hold due to an outbreak of coronavirus in the Bees' camp. It means Veljko Paunovic's side have a bit more time to prepare for their next game which takes place next Tuesday at home to Coventry City. Here is the latest on the injury front and when each Reading player could be back in action. Liam Moore - foot The club captain is out with a stress fracture to his left foot following the defeat at Brentford a week before Christmas. He is progressing well, though, in his recovery and is being assessed regularly. Likely return: Bournemouth home (Jan 29) Lewis Gibson - quad The Everton loanee, who has played just four games this season, is sidelined after suffering a quad injury during the home defeat by Norwich City on Wednesday, December 16. He is on the mend though and returned to training this week with the rest of the squad. The Coventry game may come too soon, however, so a more likely return is the away game at Preston. Likely return: Preston away (Jan 23) Yakou Meite - knee Meite is recovering well after being involved in a nasty collision with Neil Etheridge during the Birmingham defeat in early December. He suffered 'multiple injuries' but the biggest issue has been his knee. Meite posted this picture on social media on Monday Paunovic confirmed at the end of last week the attacker is 'looking good' though and will hopefully have him back by the end of the month. Likely return: Bournemouth home (Jan 29) Andy Yiadom - knee The full-back suffered a knee injury during the opening day win at Derby County and after making a comeback during the home defeats by Preston North End and Stoke City, he suffered a recurrence of the same injury in the latter game.
