MetiNews.Com - The new boss is giving as many players as possible a chance to stake their claim for a first-team spot
Breaking News ! Two Reading players seemingly on their way out of the club have been handed lifelines by new boss Veljko Paunovic. Tennai Watson and Ryan East were both handed spots in the matchday squad for Tuesday night's Carabao Cup clash with Luton Town. Watson started the match at Madejski Stadium, while East was one of the seven substitutes. Royals' exit from the competition is likely to restrict both Watson's and East's chances in the coming months. Barring significant injuries to key players, it's difficult to envisage either getting much game time.
